DocScan is a fully in-browser document scanner that allows users to scan, crop, enhance and convert documents to PDF without uploading files to any server. It includes built-in OCR to make scanned documents searchable and readable.
Unlike traditional scanner apps, DocScan runs entirely in the web browser. No file uploads, no cloud storage, no tracking. Ideal for scanning Aadhar cards, PAN cards, passports, voter IDs, driving licenses and multi-page documents.

DocScan is built using modern web technologies including OpenCV.js for edge detection and perspective correction, Canvas API for image processing, Tesseract.js for OCR running in Web Workers, pdf-lib for PDF generation, and WebAssembly for high-performance in-browser computation.
